“Come to the table” is the motto of the second National Congress of Slow Food Macedonia that will take place on July 14 (Sunday) in Bitola. Seventy delegates from the associations and groups that are part of Slow Food Macedonia will attend this important event that will determine the organization’s priorities and programmatic commitments that it will work on in the next 4 years.
At this congress, as a “dowry”, SFMK will bring the collective work of sharing and building challenges of a common destiny, which has the basic premise of a commitment to fight for good, clean and fair food for all. This is a challenge that calls for an urgent and profound change in food, which will consolidate the network of Slow Food Macedonia activists.
"Come to the table! Together, united in diversity, let us share the common reality of communities, to secure the future and… food for tomorrow! To create the country we want for our children and grandchildren, a country of life, freedom and fairness for all." - say Slow Food Macedonia.
The messages from the Congress will be tied to the new generations and their return to nature. The imperative and challenge of Slow Food Macedonia are young people, renewal with fresh energy, connecting food and the future, agroecology and agritourism.
The most important thing of all is to face the seriousness of this sociological, cultural and historical moment where action, vision and a positive perspective will have an inspiring effect on communities, building, connecting and uniting around the common mission of Slow Food Macedonia.
