The life of the legendary Anthony Bourdain is getting a biopic

When we watch a biographical film, the experience of the story is on a higher level. Just because we know that it is about a real character, the emotions are always strong.

After many such films about famous characters like Freddie Mercury, Jim Morrison, and Marilyn Monroe, now comes a biographical film about one of the most famous chefs in the world - Anthony Bourdain.

But Bourdain was not just a top culinary chef, he delved deeply into cultures, traditions, lifestyles, and food experiences around the world.

Although it's too early to say what part of his life will be covered, one thing is certain - the film will be called Tony.

His character will likely be portrayed by actor Dominic Sessa, known for his role in the film The Holdovers.

Bourdain, who took his own life at the age of 61, became famous in 2018 with the book Kitchen Confidential, with his culinary memoir where he spoke openly about the unglamorous side of elite restaurants in New York.

He gained his television fame with the cooking series No Reservations. Before his death, Anthony was filming an episode for the show. Parts Unknown in Paris, for CNN.

It remains to be seen how Tony will tell us the story of the real Bourdain.
