Macedonian designer and stylist Dusica Shaleva, who lives and works in Paris, is bringing the largest European modeling competition to the Balkans. The first casting will be in Skopje, followed by Belgrade, Zagreb and Sofia.
Top Model Europe is one of the largest and most prestigious international modeling competitions in Europe, and this year Macedonia will be part of this event for the first time. The casting will take place in Skopje on October 13. The selections are organized in 15 countries, with the aim of discovering new talents and opening up opportunities for an international career.
The success stories of our candidates and winners include collaborations with Dolce & Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Balmain, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Nina Ricci, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Lacoste, Isabel Marant, John Galliano. Our models have also been part of music videos by world-famous stars such as Stromae and Chris Brown.
This competition has three categories: show models, photo models and sports models. Sports models, which are also part of the MEN UNIVERSE category, are male models with an athletic body, aged 16 to 32, who can participate in fashion shows or advertising campaigns for sportswear, underwear or perfume advertisements. The winners of MEN UNIVERSE then participate in the world finals in the Dominican Republic, where they will have the opportunity to be represented by fashion agencies from New York, Los Angeles and Paris.
