But when we talk about making all the components and furniture, it naturally comes to mind for all of us to say that it is a “man’s” job. Percentage-wise, even in companies that deal with this activity, men are the ones who do these “rough” jobs, at least in our area.
Today we will introduce you to a young Macedonian woman who breaks stereotypes and for whom drills, grinders, saws and screwdrivers are the main tools in her everyday life and with great pleasure she makes pieces of furniture as she wishes and imagines.
Monika Mladenovska Bunteska, a social worker by primary profession and a university degree holder, not only has a passion for interior design and independently designs her home to her own measure and with her own hands, she is also one of the most successful on the YouTube platform in the domain of interior design and DIY projects, and is originally from Macedonia. Her passion for design, handcrafting and everything related to home decoration and styling, she translates it into video productions and publishes them on her YouTube channel called Home By Mon.
As a lover of clean interiors, she defines the space in a minimalist style with a clean and modern design, with light tones and a simple aesthetic. We would say that the Scandinavian style of decoration is very close to her expression, but with a more dose of warmth. Her home is a place where anyone would feel calm and warm, yet it radiates with modern lines and refined style.
What fascinates most about Monica's home is the craftsmanship of the elements in every part of the home, whose signature is precisely hers. She tirelessly creates, first in conceptual form, and then in the process of realization, and daily transforms the elements, space and walls from idea to final project.
