On Wednesday, May 15th, our well-known singer-songwriter Miyata held a concert in the small hall of the Philharmonic. This unique musical performance took place as part of the fifth edition of the Skopje City Festival, and was organized by Bagi Communications.
The singer performed in a beautiful creation from our fashion brand ELENA LUKA which perfectly matched the boho atmosphere of the concert itself which was staged as a living room, so the attendees felt as if they had come to her home. Immediately before the start of the concert, we had the opportunity to talk to Mijata and have her share her emotions about the concert, about the role of her mother Dragica Mijatović in her career, but also about the collaboration with ELENA LUKA.
“With this concert, among other things, I want to show people where my talent and my voice come from, and that’s why my mother will be performing with me tonight. She is a retired meteorologist and has never made a career out of her voice, but in my case, it was my mother who directly influenced and stimulated me to sing, enrolled me in a music school and, above all, genetically passed on my voice to me. I would also like to say that I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to ELENA LUKA for making sure my mother looked beautiful tonight, because when she saw herself in ELENA LUKA’s creation, she was amazed and her face changed, and that is priceless.” – Miyata told us.
We also asked her about the outfit she wore for her magical concert.
“When I was preparing for the concert and thinking about styling, I decided to turn to my best friend ELENA LUKA. I really try to have a creative expression at every concert and in every song, and it was not easy at all to choose a creation that would encompass all genres and all songs. But the choice was still simple in the end, when it came to ELENA LUKA, so I decided on a creation that is the upper part of a dress, and I combined it with pants. The result is characteristic of me as a person and fits very well with that boho style and I would like to extend a huge thank you to the creators who allowed me to personalize their vision. The creation by ELENA LUKA perfectly fit into my idea where people come to my home, and that is the point of this concert, and in the end everything turned out perfectly.” – added Miyata.
Among the guests at the concert, such as Muhamed Ibrahimi, Teodora Gosheva – Kapsarova, Aleksandar Peshevski, etc., at the end of the evening, singer Nina Janeva appeared, who beautifully complemented the concert with her powerful voice, and who also wore a creation by ELENA LUKA.
“So far in my career, I have not collaborated with such a good and well-known fashion brand as ELENA LUKA, and since I recently became part of the ELENA LUKA marketing team, it is very meaningful to me when I see what is being done in the fashion creation of ELENA LUKA. With its uniqueness, unique design and unique vision of ELENA LUKA, I think that tonight will be a great combination with Miyata's concert, because both I and Miyata and her mother are dressed in ELENA LUKA creations.” – shared Nina.
