The Venice Film Festival, which is being held for the 81st time this year, started on August 29th and will last until September 7th.
The opening was marked by the premiere of the film Beetlejuice, and the main protagonists Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, and Monica Bellucci dominated the red carpet in red and black outfits.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was received by the legendary Sigourney Weaver, and another film that found itself in the spotlight was Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix.
