Carrots are a vegetable that is rich in vitamins and minerals and is used in the diet throughout the year and in a variety of forms. It can be used fresh in salads, and it is also used in the preparation of various dishes fried, boiled or baked.
Today we recommend roasted carrots with parmesan, a recipe that is very quick and easy to prepare, and is a truly delicious snack as an appetizer or as a side dish with a main course.
Peel and wash the carrots and cut them into thin strips lengthwise. Top with a little oil, salt and pepper, and you can add some extra seasoning if you like. Place them on baking paper in an oven at 200 degrees and bake until they are browned. When they are almost done, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each carrot, as much as you like, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
Serve with sauce of your choice, add fresh parsley or basil of your choice, and enjoy the salty, melted flavor of the Parmesan on top of the perfectly roasted and soft carrots.
