The modern ballet "CINDERELLA" by Sergei Prokofiev on September 27 at the National Opera and Ballet

The modern ballet fairy tale for all ages, "Cinderella" by Sergei Prokofiev, will be performed on the stage of the National Opera and Ballet on September 27, starting at 8:00 PM.

The story of "Cinderella" translated into the beautiful music of the great Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev is choreographed by the guest from Serbia, Aleksandar Ilic. The costume design is by Katerina Radosevic Galic (Croatia), and the set designer is Filip Korunovski. Sound design: Georg Drausnik (Croatia), lighting design: Milcho Aleksandrov, assistant choreographer: Sasha Evtimova and Mojca Majcen (Slovenia), rehearsals: Sasha Evtimova, Dafina Daniloska-Kochevska, assistant costume designer is Angela Bogeska.

The story of "Cinderella" will be brought to our stage by: Natasha Trendafilova Gicev (Hristina Nakjevska), Igor Velanoski, Sasha Evtimova, Angela Bogatinova, Andrew Cook (England), Kristijan Jangos, Dragan Kochoski, Gala Kochevska, soloists and the ballet ensemble of the National Opera and Ballet.

Aleksandar Ilic, the choreographer of the ballet "Cinderella", says that this staging of "Cinderella" is not a classical version, but was created in a more contemporary context. "We placed our 'Cinderella' in a completely different time frame, in the 1970s. More precisely, during the popularity of the film 'Brilliant', with the most famous role of John Travolta, and with that we played with our 'Cinderella' at that time."
