ELENA LUKA, at yesterday's reception at the Slovak Embassy, was pleased to receive a letter of appreciation from the Slovak Ambassador to the country, H.E. Henrik Markus, for the support of the charity fashion show for oncology patients which was held a month ago at the MCC.
At this event that caused an avalanche of emotions, 19 inspiring women, who have won or are still fighting the battle with cancer, bravely stepped onto the catwalk wearing exclusive formal gowns designed by ELENA LUKA.
The fashion show, of which ELENA LUKA was the main patron, was organized by the HEMA-ONKO association and the Slovak Embassy in Skopje, and one of the biggest initiators of the organization of the event, who also performed at the show itself, was Žanet Markušová - wife of the Slovak ambassador to Macedonia and a member of the HEMA-ONKO association.
Almost a month after the fashion show, the emotions about it are still very strong. According to ELENA LUKA, this fashion show stands out for the powerful message it managed to convey.
"ELENA LUKA has been part of many fashion actions and initiatives so far, but this fashion show that took place 30 days ago at the MCC was special. Realized with the enormous support of the HEMA-ONKO association, our team, and especially thanks to the initiative of the Slovak Embassy, the ambassador and his wife Janet, who is a close friend of mine, we realized an event that left an unforgettable mark. The essence of the show was not only in the luxury of the models or in the performance itself, but also in the message that we conveyed: that women, regardless of life's trials, should always maintain their strong will and not forget the most important values - faith, hope and love. These women sent a message that even after difficult trials, a person can emerge stronger, spiritually richer and braver." - emphasized Mrs. ELENA PANDEVA (ELENA LUKA) at the reception at the Slovak Embassy.
ELENA LUKA assessed the event as extremely successful and indicated that it will remain noted in the history of the renowned brand's work.
"19 beautiful ladies paraded the runway, each unique and with their own story. Without much time for rehearsals or choreography, they presented themselves as true professionals. The emotions they expressed while wearing the designs gave the dresses a special character. Their personal stories, their energy and the state they were in made each design unique and priceless. It was very "A dignified event, I thank all my friends who chose ELENA LUKA to be the fashion wearer of that evening." - he emphasized Mrs. ELENA PANDEVA (ELENA LUKA).
During the reception, ELENA LUKA expressed sincere gratitude for the great gesture from the Slovak Embassy and the letter of appreciation she received, which she defined as recognition for the shared love, teamwork, and friendship.
"During the event, a sense of togetherness and love was created that made the evening memorable. The certificate of appreciation I received was a surprise for me, I did not expect such recognition because I believe that everything we achieved was the result of teamwork. This certificate of appreciation for me is a symbol of understanding, love and confirmation of our sincere and pure intention as ELENA LUKA. I will keep it as a sign of togetherness and long-lasting friendship. I am grateful to the team, the Slovak Embassy and everyone who was part of this initiative." - said Mrs. ELENA PANDEVA (ELENA LUKA).
Great gratitude for the support of the fashion show, which was a true celebration of the life, courage and beauty of women who faced one of life's most difficult challenges, was also expressed by the Slovak Ambassador to the country, H.E. Henrik Markus.
"We are happy that ELENA LUKA was part of the fashion show for oncology patients. The collaboration with ELENA LUKA brought tremendous positive energy to the entire initiative. When she comes to the embassy, we feel that she brings sunshine with her. This is very important because the support that oncology patients receive through such events is extremely significant. These women were absolutely delighted. They had been waiting for this opportunity for years, and we managed to realize it together. The event inspired not only those present, but also the wider public, encouraging thinking about how we can all help. We hope that this is just the beginning of such activities that will create positive changes and raise awareness of important social issues, in order for everyone to be, above all, healthy and happy." - he emphasized Slovak Ambassador H.E. Henrik Markusz.
The reception at the Slovak Embassy was also attended by the Vice President of HEMA-ONKO Milica Kuzmanovska, who, on behalf of the association, presented ELENA LUKA with a certificate of appreciation and shared her sincere gratitude for the support provided, noting that all the women who participated in the fashion show, even a month after its realization, are under strong positive impressions. The meeting discussed potential cooperation for this event, which sent a powerful message to raise awareness about the fight against cancer, to grow into a tradition.
