One of the most successful and impressive British electro bands, "Koshin", arrives in Skopje with a solo concert with which the group celebrates 25 years of career. As part of the off-program of the 26th edition of TAXIRATE FESTIVAL, this concert will be held on October 18 at the Youth Cultural Center, starting at 8:30 PM.
Led by the extraordinary voice and energy of charismatic singer and songwriter Sian Evans, the band "Koshin" gained worldwide fame thanks to the hit "Hide U" from their platinum debut album. "Resist" (2001), and was followed by the crossover hits "Catch", "Hungry" and "All In My Head", which propelled the band to the top of the most relevant world charts.
Today, their career spans five studio albums, earning them a reputation as a cult representative of early-century music. They took a few years off from touring, and Shian Evans used the break to channel her energy and bring a whole new perspective to the band's live performances. Reaching a new level of passion and depth, she brought the group's music and performances to perfection.
They returned to the stage in full glory in 2019, appearing as one of the main performers at numerous British and European festivals, as well as world-class events. Since then, the group has held some of their best concerts, and the next milestone was the extraordinary 2021 tour and extremely successful performances with a changed lineup. Their energetic, passionate and powerful performances have garnered excellent reviews from critics and the conclusion that the band now sounds better than ever. Shian manages to captivate again and again with her impeccable vocals, boundless enthusiasm and energy, and the power of her music is matched by her unique appearance and charisma on stage. From performance to performance, the group "Koshin" successfully continues to solidify its undoubted reputation as one of the cult bands of its time.
