This weekend, Selena Gomez made her first public appearance since announcing her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco.
The star was spotted in Los Angeles outside the Harmony Gold Theater wearing an elegant combination – a long black coat, over a black velvet skirt and a white shirt. She completed her look with black open-toed shoes, silver rings and matching earrings, while striking red lipstick added a dose of boldness.
What drew attention was the absence of her diamond engagement ring.
Gomez shared the engagement news earlier last week in an emotional Instagram post. The gallery included a close-up photo of the ring, a romantic hug with Blanco, and a moment from a picnic where she wore a white coat.
He ended the post with the words: "eternity begins now..."
