Zara opens its first pastry shop, choosing Lisbon as the location

When the fashion and gastronomic scenes merge, the result rarely disappoints.

That's exactly what Zara did by opening its first pastry shop in the world.

The brand chose sunny Lisbon as its location, where the second largest Zara store has recently been located.

For those who don't know, the largest is located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and the brand also owns a cafe for which Dubai was chosen as the location last year.

The focus of the Lisbon pastry shop is the Portuguese specialty called pasteis de nata, but there are other types of pastries, and coffee is also served.

These sweet treats have a long tradition in Portugal, and are characterized by a crispy crust, which contains a sweet cream of egg yolks and cinnamon.
