ELENA LUKA as a successful business woman, manager and owner of the established brands ELENA LUKA HOME and ELENA LUKA, was a VIP guest and also a Gold Sponsor of the "Women Economic Forum - Balkans 2024", an event that aims to support and strengthen female entrepreneurship and leadership and which was held for the first time in Macedonia, on October 2nd and 3rd in Skopje at the "Marriott" hotel.
Through her impressive example of a female leader who simultaneously manages businesses in multiple spheres, ELENA LUKA, within the framework of her agenda at the event, aimed to support and motivate the female business sector in Macedonia, but also on an international level, considering that she is also a member of the global G100 community, which is considered one of the most powerful groups made up of female leaders and which aims to create a progressive and inclusive environment for women around the world.
"ELENA LUKA HOME and ELENA LUKA are considered the most successful companies, each in its own domain, led by a woman. That is why, at the invitation of the organizers of the event, "Elite", the Association of Women Managers and as a member of the global organization G100, which is also one of the most powerful global women's associations, I am honored to be in the company of many prominent and successful women at the international level today and to be a VIP guest of the event and also a Gold Sponsor. My participation in this exceptionally high-quality event, which is being held for the first time in Macedonia and includes several panel discussions on particularly important topics for the women's business world, is a priority to give my support as a woman who successfully leads businesses in multiple sectors and through her example to point out positive practices in the business world. This event is an excellent opportunity for mutual networking and discussion about all the positive changes, but also the challenges that women face, primarily in business on a global level and in our country, as well as for finding solutions to them. My focus within today's agenda, in addition to my advocacy and support for women's leadership, also includes a promotional campaign in the context of the premium residential and business complex FUTURA. I am truly proud that ELENA LUKA HOME as a company, and at the same time FUTURA Complex as a capital project, are truly representative of world standards in construction. FUTURA Complex is the new modern architectural stamp of Skopje, located in the municipality of Kisela Voda, on the most frequented boulevard "Boris Trajkovski", just a few minutes' walk from the center of Skopje, situated in an environment with developed social infrastructure and with all the facilities that meet the needs of modern man. And it is precisely through such capital projects as FUTURA and the general success of the companies that I manage, that the power and influence of female entrepreneurship and our ability to economically, but also socially strengthen society, as one of the main goals of G100, is illustrated", emphasized ELENA LUKA.
For FUTURA Complex:
With an area of 47,000m2 FUTURA Complex includes four residential and commercial buildings with 382 residential units, which are of different typologies and with square footage from 35m2 to 88m2. The goal of ELENA LUKA HOME is to offer an ideal place to live that will be a symbol of personalized lifestyle, modern design, exclusivity, safety, functionality, energy efficiency – quality as a top priority which is our hallmark. Our idea is to create a positive impact through architecture from every aspect, and with FUTURE Complex we absolutely continue the successful mission of ELENA LUKA HOME.
Regarding what values and qualities brought her to the top in the business sector, and coincide with the G100 vision for female entrepreneurship and mutual support, ELENA LUKA stated:
“As a leader, I have always believed that every business, whether in the fashion or construction sector, should have a clear vision and purpose that reflects the values of the company. The core values that create my business approach are always based on integrity, innovation, a unique idea, dedication, maximum professionalism, but also responsibility towards people and the community. These values are also a reflection of the vision of G100, which advocates for the global empowerment of women through economic and leadership opportunities – to create a world where women entrepreneurs lead with perseverance and innovation, while paying attention to economic and social development. Through my companies, ELENA LUKA HOME and ELENA LUKA, as well as through the most influential online fashion magazine FashionEL.mk, I am making every effort to advance the position of women in business and to show that it is possible to achieve success even in traditionally male-dominated industries. The pursuit of originality and innovation that always sets us apart from the average is the most pronounced character thread that connects the worlds of ELENA LUKA and ELENA LUKA HOME. My goal is to offer people choice, variety and diversity to the point of personalization through both brands. That is why we have a huge family of loyal customers in both the fashion and construction sectors, because people recognize the dedication, professionalism and quality that we offer at every level. Both aspects move towards creating a unique final product with a tendency to become timeless. Through my personal example, I want to show that with the right strategy, vision and perseverance, women can be leaders in any sector, even those traditionally dominated by men. We are working to open paths for the next generation of female leaders, especially in industries that require innovation and leadership.
To increase the presence of women in business, specific measures must be taken in several areas.
"Education and training for the development of entrepreneurial and leadership skills are a basic prerequisite. ELENA LUKA has so far encouraged and initiated female entrepreneurship in our country with many successful projects. We have implemented free professional training and complex programs, in order for women to become financially independent, become independent and start their own business. Creating and strengthening networks of women entrepreneurs is also of great importance. Women need platforms such as the Economic Forum of Women Leaders, where they can connect and share experiences and resources, along with access to global markets. One of the biggest challenges is access to financial resources. In this context, it is necessary to create more programs that will provide women entrepreneurs with easy access to loans, grants and other financial resources, especially for startup companies. In my companies, a large number of employees are women, especially in managerial positions. "My vision is to create an inclusive economy where women will play a leading role and overcome all existing barriers, both nationally and globally. I believe that this platform is an excellent tool for strengthening female entrepreneurship in all sectors," emphasized ELENA LUKA.
More than 250 women leaders and businesswomen from Macedonia, Portugal, Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Austria, Kosovo, Turkey, India and Egypt will participate in the "Women Economic Forum - Balkans 2024", organized by the Association of Women Managers "Elite", Skopje and the G100 Communication, Advocacy and Mediation Wing for Macedonia, under the global franchise of the Women Economic Forum (WEF) and the G100 Million mission.
