Actress Tamara Ristoska as the only representative from the region at Berlinale Talents 2025

Actress Tamara Ristoska will participate in the prestigious program Berlinale Talents which will be held within the framework of this year's edition of the Berlin Film Festival – Berlinale, one of the most important film festivals in the world. At the 23rd edition of this program, Tamara Ristoska was selected among 3,836 applicants from 123 countries, and she is the only participant from the region.

Berlinale Talents is a platform for the development of film talent, exploring the art and process of filmmaking. Founded in 2003, this program is recognized as one of the leading forums for film professionals and enthusiasts. With over 10,000 alumni worldwide, Berlinale Talents represents one of the largest global film communities, offering a unique opportunity for networking and creative collaboration on an international level.

This year's theme of Berlinale Talents is "Listen Courageously – Cinematic Narratives in Times of Dissonance", which will explore the meaning and importance of listening in the arts. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in debates, workshops and discussions with world-renowned speakers. In past years, keynote speakers have included film legends such as Martin Scorsese, Cate Blanchett, Kristen Stewart, Ruben Östlund, Geraldine Chaplin and Lupita Nyong'o.

Tamara Ristoska is a prominent young actress from Macedonia, who is successfully building a career on an international level. She is known for her roles in the films "Mimi", "Tina's Problem", "Ordinary Ellie", "Return to Silent Hill", "Verified Target" and others. In addition, she has appeared in the domestic TV series "The Markovski Family" and "Teenage Camp", as well as in the Serbian productions "Konstantinovo raskrsće" and "Branilac".

Her latest projects include roles in Sara Klimosta's directorial debut "New Energy", Goran Radovanović's film "Lubarda", as well as "Ruka Pravde" directed by Nemanja Ćeranić, where Tamara plays one of the main roles.
