Dior wins Paris Fashion Week with its interpretation of fashion through the centuries

Paris Fashion Week had its official start, and among the fashion houses that had the honor of performing on the first day was Dior.

For this fall/winter collection, the fashion house Maria Grazia Chiuri has revived Dior's rich heritage in its own way.

Chiuri, who has been the brand's creative director since 2016, took us on a journey through time, spanning four centuries from the 16th to the modern 20th.

In addition to historical pieces of clothing like crinolines, puffy sleeves, and tight pants, there were also tulle dresses that changed the direction from sexy to sporty variations.

The collection also brought corseted blazers with floral accessories, as well as all-black uniforms that were complemented by retro T-shirts that read J'adore Dior.

Sparkly coats, worn biker jackets, and lace-up boots walked the runway, giving way to a few metallic models and transparent solutions.
