The sixth day of Milan Fashion Week brought original, authentic and unusual fashion releases. Fashionel and our reporter Stacey were there to capture the most striking moments.
From extravagant creations to bold, unusual combinations, the fashion scene shone in its most innovative form.
Stacy, dressed in a unique outfit by ELENA LUKA, perfectly reflected the aesthetic of the day – boldness, individuality, and cutting-edge design.
Attached is the review of the day that Stacey prepared for you...
The future is in the youth.
And the future of fashion lies in the ideas of young designers, the realization of designs that encourage the support of young people, and the youthful energy that the collections bring. The events of the sixth day of Milan Fashion Week for the autumn/winter 2025/26 season concluded this exciting and dynamic week precisely in that light – the future remains with the young.
So the brand presentation art259design presented a collection developed in response to a sense of disorientation and a context of uncertainty. Designer Alberto Affinito allowed himself to be unconsciously carried away by the spontaneous flow of ideas, suggestions and stimuli, implementing the philosophy of zero waste in suits and jumpsuits made of waterproof nylon and velvet that simulates gills.
The brand's fashion show HUI Milano reinterpreted culturally traditional forms and vintage materials such as brocade, lace and tweed into modernist pieces with specific accents of orange and red. The refreshed mixes of non-specific pairings were ideally suited to the golden ambience of Palazzo Clerici, but the message conveyed was that traditionally chic pieces can have a contemporary look.
As a brand that has continuously brought freshness with an exceptionally youthful outlook since its inception, Avavav tried to remind us where and how we live with the collection "The Hole", in which models in zombie roles emerged from the "hole" and revived the street style for which they are notable. In an exclusive closer look at the pieces that "made them come to life", we noticed skeleton hands balancing with cute ribbons, as well as loose blouses with cropped hoods that brought a feminine touch paired with lace skirts.
And the message in fashion is crucial, and the designer's fashion show Francesca Liberatore, as the last show on the official Milan Fashion Week calendar for the fall/winter 25/26 season, emphasized how important it is to nurture the young generations, and to pay attention to them from the earliest years during their formative years. In a new reflection, set in the hallways of an elementary school, it is precisely the “new” vision expressed through soft burgundy coats, knitted skirts in olive green and cocoa brown, fur and tartan hats, and a Spanish sense of styling with bright accents that points to the importance of the young individual, who then manages to wear the same pieces again in new combinations at different times in their own lives.
So, in an attempt to calm all the wild thoughts caused by the impressions of the different fashion shows, we reached for a seemingly unusual fashion combination of pieces with a similar sensibility from the brand ELENA LUKA. The brocade pants with a pinkish sheen of extraordinary length, paired with the unusual coat of golden brocade were a pair created for photography, and attracted the lenses of numerous photographers on the streets of Milan. Perfectly balanced with each other through the shades of the silk patterned top from the brand, and adding, as the icing on the cake, a vintage brocade bag in the same pattern, the styling screamed youthful playfulness that placed us in the front rows of such an elite event as Milan Fashion Week.
From mini to maxi, from muted earth tones to bright intense accents, from traditional to fresh modern prints, the sixth day of Milan Fashion Week was a confirmation of how fashion events, apart from the regular excitement, filled us with enthusiasm and directed our focus towards how an individual's development takes place in this contaminated reality, encouraging us to continue to nurture children's curiosity and art, which "does not reproduce what is visible, but makes visible what is not always" (Paul Klee).
