The group Synthesis, one of the most significant ambassadors of Macedonian music, will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a spectacular concert at the Macedonian Philharmonic on September 25, 2024.
Formed in 1995, Sintezis began their career with a unique vision – to revive and present Macedonian traditional music in a contemporary way. By combining old folk sounds with modern arrangements, the group quickly distinguished itself on the Macedonian music scene and further on the international one. Their first album, “DD Sintezis”, was released in 1996 and immediately caused positive reactions among the audience and critics. The group continued its success story with the albums “Swinging Macedonia” (2000) and other significant releases that highlighted their authentic sound.
With more than 500 concerts held on all continents, Synthesis has proven itself as the most significant musical export product from Macedonia. They have performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls and festivals around the world, where they have presented Macedonian musical culture and tradition. Their mission is to preserve Macedonian traditional music, but also to enrich it with new musical forms and elements that make it relevant for today's audience.
For three decades, Synthesis has been preserving and developing the Macedonian musical tradition with dedication and passion. This anniversary concert will be the culmination of their thirty-year journey and will be an unforgettable event for the Macedonian audience. At the anniversary concert, together with their guests, Synthesis will perform some of their most famous compositions that mark their path through the years.
