One of the favorite destinations in winter, especially for winter sports enthusiasts, is the French Alps.
The excellent ski terrain, the natural beauty of the mountains, as well as the accommodation facilities are truly impressive for every visitor.
An exceptionally attractive place is located right in this part of the Alps. This idyllic winter destination is called Avoriaz and stretches at an altitude of 1800 meters.
Here you will find a large number of hotels, apartments, and cottages, most of which are built of wood.
There is no traffic in Avoriaz, and to transport your belongings, you can rent horse-drawn sleighs, among other things.
This modern Alpine village looks truly magical, especially at night. There is plenty of snow cover, and in addition to skiing, the offer includes many other activities such as snowboarding, dog sledding, Nordic skiing, horse-drawn carriage rides...
It's impressive that there are as many as 30 snow parks in Avoriaz, which are great fun, especially if you're traveling with children.
If you decide to stay indoors, there is also the Aquariaz water park where a special ambiance reigns.
