On the feast day dedicated to Saint Basil the Great, ELENA LUKA visited the Nursing Home "Mother Teresa" and brought positive energy, emphasizing the importance of humanity and care for the elderly. In cooperation with the National Council for Gender Equality (SOŽM), ELENA LUKA organized an event for the ninth time that brought smiles to the faces of the home's users. They enjoyed Macedonian melos, delicious pie with a coin and were delighted with the gifts they received from this socially responsible company.
"I am still full of emotions, it is a special pleasure and honor for me every time I come here. We have been communicating and cooperating with this home for 9 years and we truly feel like part of this community. My team is constantly here, and every time I manage to come, I meet these wonderful people. The years pass, but this remains a special family, made up of people with rich life stories and many experiences from which one can always learn. These people are full of love and have survived various trials, and now here, together, they represent a true energetic whole, full of recipes for successful living." - emphasized Mrs. Elena Pandeva (ELENA LUKA).
A special surprise for ELENA LUKA was the beautiful poem that poetess and home user Miroslava Bogatinova dedicated and wrote as a gift for her long-term collaboration with ELENA LUKA.
"This house means a lot to me, because it is full of love, will to live, spirituality and connection with God. I feel it as a place where the true values of life are revealed. Here comes the awareness that the last decade of life should be dedicated to spirituality and creativity. I am so happy to be here today, filled with positive emotions, special gratitude for the poem written by our beautiful poetess and the gifts from the management and the beneficiaries. St. Basil is a great saint who teaches humanity, love and care for others. Today, through this meeting, we were reminded of the true values." - said Mrs. Elena Pandeva (ELENA LUKA).
Gratitude for the long-term cooperation in the realization of this humanitarian event was expressed to ELENA LUKA by the head of the Mother Teresa Nursing Home - Dejan Petrov and the president of the National Council for Gender Equality - Savka Todorovska.
"We sincerely thank our long-time collaborators, the National Council for Gender Equality, Savka Todorovska and Ms. Elena Pandeva (ELENA LUKA). Their support cannot be described in words – they are the real icing on the cake in these winter days. On behalf of all the beneficiaries and the entire team, I express my great gratitude for their constant dedication and love," said Dejan Petrov - Head of the Nursing Home "Mother Teresa".
"We have been cooperating with the 'Mother Teresa' Nursing Home for 33 years, together with the management. We have worked with many donors, but with the ELENA LUKA team we have been cooperating the longest and most fruitfully. The great saint, St. Basil, whom we celebrate today, inspires us for such humanitarian activities. Humanity is in all of us, and this team proves it with its dedication. The coin that we traditionally award symbolizes happiness and good thoughts," emphasized Savka Todorovska - President of the National Council for Gender Equality (SOŽM).
On this festive day, emotions and sincere messages highlighted the importance of togetherness and love for the elderly. The organized event brightened the everyday lives of the beneficiaries of the "Mother Teresa" Nursing Home and brought them motivation and hope for a new year filled with health, happiness and positive thoughts.
