The National Folk Dance and Song Ensemble – Tanec, which is a symbol of Macedonian identity and culture, is celebrating a great jubilee this year – 75 years since its founding. As part of this significant event, the ensemble held a series of concerts both at home and abroad.
As the crowning achievement of this jubilee season, Tanec announces its final, central gala concert, which will be held on December 22, 2024 (Sunday) at the National Opera and Ballet, starting at 7:00 PM.
The audience will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the musical and stage pearls of Tanec's rich folklore tradition, dating from different periods of its existence.
The program includes some of the most famous and most beautiful dances and choreographic compositions, such as "The Heavy One", "The Woman's Boat", "Dracevka", "Wedding", "Two Dances", "Djamala", "Pirin Spring Flower", "K'lc Noga", "Kopacka", "White Sea Pearl", "Maleshevka", "Radoviški Sobor", and many other vocal and vocal-instrumental numbers, which will be performed by the outstanding artists of the Tanec ensemble.
