The Louvre Museum is organizing an exhibition dedicated to fashion for the first time

The famous Louvre Museum in Paris will, for the first time in its history, organize an exhibition entirely dedicated to fashion.

Louvre Couture: Art and Fashion will bring together art, history, and high fashion in a unique way.

The exhibition will be similar to the Met Gala, in that it will have a humanitarian purpose.

The funds raised will be used to finance activities at the museum itself.

The gala evening includes a formal dinner and party that will also mark the start of Paris Fashion Week in March.

The exhibition will feature a total of 71 haute couture creations, as well as 30 fashion accessories. They will be in harmony with the art and decor in the museum itself.

The fashion exhibition will be divided into seven different eras, such as Byzantium and the Middle Ages.

The list of fashion houses that will participate is impressive.

A total of 45 designers will exhibit their creations, including Dior, Chanel, Jacquemus, Iris Van Herpen, Alexander McQueen, Loewe, Balenciaga and Mugler.

The exhibition will run from January 24 to July 21.
