The talented Russian pianist Varvara Kutuzova won over the Macedonian audience in spectacular, lavish creations from the renowned fashion brand ELENA LUKA at her first performance in the country, which took place on Saturday at the Macedonian Philharmonic.
At the event organized on the occasion of the 185th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer P.I. Tchaikovsky, by the European association for interaction in the fields of culture, education and sports, "Oxa Projects", Kutuzova wore 3 creations by ELENA LUKA that gave a glamorous effect to her performance.
At the opening of her solo piano concert, the young and talented Varvara Kutuzova, winner of many international competitions and one of the most prominent representatives of the contemporary Russian piano school, shone in a creation of golden brocade.
"The dress is made of opulent gold brocade, which creates a rich and luxurious effect. It has a classic A-line with a corseted top that emphasizes the waist and transitions into a wide skirt that creates graceful volume. The design is elegant and sophisticated, ideal for formal events, while the fabric with a golden sheen adds a dose of glamour and refinement," says the ELENA LUKA team.
In the second part of the concert, where Kutuzova performed works by Rachmaninoff, she wore an elegant and sophisticated gown, which perfectly matched her impressive performance.
"The creation is elegant and sophisticated, made in black with a combination of satin and transparent lace. The upper part is decorated with floral lace applications, which create a dramatic and romantic effect, while the sleeves are long and transparent with wide ends. The lower part is made of satin fabric, with a long skirt that forms a mermaid silhouette, emphasizing the elegance and femininity of the design," explains the ELENA LUKA team.
Especially for the interview with the Fashionel team, Kutuzova wore another ELENA LUKA creation, spectacular and luxurious, made of rich brocade lace with a floral design in red and gold tones. The design of this creation was complemented by a striking red bow at the back, which continues into a long satin cape, adding drama and uniqueness to the overall look.
Kutuzova shared her strong impressions of her first concert in Macedonia and her admiration for the creations she wore that evening.
"For me, this was a wonderful concert, the audience was very warm, the piano I performed on was great. This is my first time in Macedonia and I don't want to go home. Today was the first time I performed in a dress by a Macedonian designer and I am really happy. The dresses were not only beautiful, but also comfortable. As an artist when you perform, it is very important that what you wear, in addition to looking beautiful, is also comfortable. Yesterday we had a great day, because we had a fitting at ELENA LUKA, and I couldn't choose dresses because they were all beautiful. When I had to choose, I didn't know how to do it, I wanted to wear them all, I think I should return to Macedonia to perform again in these beautiful dresses," Kutuzova said.
Representatives of the European association for interaction in the fields of culture, education and sport, "Oxa Projects", also appeared at Kutuzova's concert in elegant creations by ELENA LUKA. The president of the association, Oksana Bogo, explained how they came up with the idea for organizing this concert and expressed her gratitude to ELENA LUKA for supporting this event.
"We noticed Varvara's talent a long time ago and wanted to invite her to come to Macedonia. Due to some situations, that procedure was postponed and we are happy that after 4 years we managed to organize this concert. We saw emotion in the audience tonight, as well as in Varvara, we are very happy that we finally brought her here. We also organized a workshop with Varvara with the students from the Secondary Music School, it was really wonderful, the students quickly learned something new and were very excited, we plan to continue with such projects," said Oksana Bogo, president of "Oxa Projects".
Kutuzova's performance was also attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural institutions and the business community in the country. Before the concert, an exhibition by the famous photographer Evgeniy Evtuhov entitled "Surrounded by Music and Stars" was opened in the hall of the Macedonian Philharmonic, which was presented within the framework of the project "Art Unites the World", as a parallel event to last year's edition of the Venice Art Biennale.
