A few days before the holiday that celebrates love, New York Fashion Week was marked by a romantic-floral collection by Carolina Herrera.
Wes Gordon found inspiration for the collection in one of his favorite 70s films, Welcome, Mr. Chance, and the book on which it is based.
The models walked through a scenography that resembled a flower garden, dressed in silk woven with delicate floral patterns.
The creative director placed special emphasis on beauty and sophistication, which is, in fact, the idea of the fashion house.
According to Wes, every color has its own beauty and should not be tied to a specific season, so the fall-winter 2025 collection was quite colorful.
In terms of cuts, everything was symmetrically defined, with strict lines giving a perfect dose of refinement, and as the icing on the cake were the moments of delicate lace and sparkling beads.
