The fashion magic in Milan has begun, and Fashionel is at the heart of the action. Our exclusive correspondent, Stacey, arrived in ELENA LUCA fashion pieces that exude avant-garde and sophisticated glamour.
ELENA LUKA’s voluminous brocade jacket with a striking cut and dramatic sleeves adds a luxurious, futuristic note, while black trousers create the perfect balance. High boots with a pointed toe add power and urban chic, and a knitted hat brings an artistic and modern thread. As a finishing touch, ELENA LUKA’s bag with a colorful floral print plays up this urban look.

Milan is slowly clearing the air – breathing fashion
We live in fashion times that bubble with uncertainty, where the game of "musical chairs" between fashion houses playing the "music" and creative directors fighting for their "chair" defines the aesthetic that we all absorb and eagerly anticipate.
Well, the first day of Milan Fashion Week for the fall/winter 2025 season was exactly that – uncertainty about what to expect from the brands showing on the official Camera Moda calendar, while celebrating many anniversaries and crowning sustainability.
Somewhere between new aesthetics and maintaining the recognizable image of the houses, Alberta Ferretti's house presented its first collection under the design baton of Lorenzo Serafini, K-Way celebrated its 60th anniversary, Elle magazine gathered its editors from all over the world for its 80th anniversary, and Dsquared2 crowned the evening with drama on the occasion of the brand's 30th anniversary.
But fashion week traditionally began with the opening of the Fashion Hub - a platform for young designers and design solutions that desire or see their place within the story of Milanese fashion.
With fresh design ideas realized through sustainable materials and solutions, a dozen young names on the fashion scene promoted and enthusiastically presented their designs in the numerous rooms of Palazzo Affari. Within the framework of the private event on the occasion of the opening, the president of Camera Moda, Mr. Carlo Capasa, reviewed their realizations through individual conversations, encouraging their desires.
In an exclusive interview with Fashionel, President Kapaza expressed joy for the new generations:
"New generations are offering fresh ideas and solutions that are moving the fashion world forward, while larger houses are trying to find their own versions of sustainability that they will implement in their traditional manufacturing methods."
Although the fashion events were significantly smaller in number than on the first day, the iconic presentations that brands prefer were not lacking, given the fact that selected visitors will be able to inspect, feel, and see up close the pieces and collections that have been created.
As one of the most striking, we highlight the Emporio Sirenuse brand, which, in its rise, still loves to create an intimate presentation of selected models, made in a mix of classic, rigid tweed shapes, paired with delicate, boho feminine lines.
Fashion shows are, as always, grandiose events, and in one such edition of an extraordinary event, Fashionel was part of the Iceberg brand show.
Designer James Long, who is actively creatively refreshing the brand across all its lines, announced the return of the "Iceberg Jeans" line just a month ago, which makes us think that although continuously focused on novelties, tradition is still in the brand's core DNA - especially in the new fall/winter 2025 collection.
In an exclusive interview with Fashionel, Long stated that it is important to maintain the traditional look of the brand that is cherished, and that it is absolutely not the creativity of just one person, thanking his team on several occasions.
Outstanding styling solutions actively vibrated between punk and posh, offering wearable structure and youthful chic. Fluid low-waisted pants were paired with tailored coats, pleated minis were covered in maxi knit comfort, ribbed knits started from sailor collars, and a knitted train successfully wrapped the entire outfit… and the entire story.
