A philosophy of time that ideologically repeats itself and visually builds upon itself...
We embarked on such a surreal experience on the fifth day of Milan Fashion Week for the fall/winter 2020-21 season, which took us on a journey through the decades through happiness and freedom.
When we begin to analyze the times we live in, it is necessary to remember the times we have lived through, how interesting they were, and what the quality of the things that surrounded and described the environment was.
We remember the 80s, when winter and summer vacations were a necessary event with a familiar feeling of a long-adopted family location preserved on Polaroids, in authentic ski overalls or short T-shirts with the recognizable aesthetics of the decade, so with the brand Fiorucci We will recognize them in a modernized form and intriguing styling in the "Beatitudo" collection for the fall/winter 25-26 season.
We are reminded of the 90s, when the bands Nirvana and Iron Maiden brought a new way of rebellion and street aesthetics, with faded T-shirts and torn jeans, and the brand Aniye Records we will recognize them as a reinterpretation in the flared sweaters with woven logos and the ruffled skirts worn with high heels.
We remember the 2000s, when playing with fashion took us into a trance, and thinking about the future, i.e. futura, was present in every fashion piece, radiating fashion, art, music and cinema, and so with the brand MSGM We will recognize them through the psychedelic neon prints barely concealed by tulle in a crazy freedom, or the intertwined red letters on a white background of the exaggerated scarf.
At the end of the day, after so many thoughts about time and things past, the poet Katerina Fronji asked us: "Did you really think all these things...?" and made us think again...
