ELENA LUKA's unique handmade creations helped two children with Down syndrome feel beautiful and special as part of the event "We are beautiful, we are our own". The event was traditionally held for the 8th time on Saturday in the packed hall of the Anton Panov Cultural Center in Strumica.
The renowned fashion house ELENA LUKA, which as a socially responsible company supports this event for the 8th time in a row, produced two striking creations in black and white design in accordance with the concept of the show. The event was also attended by ELENA LUKA, who explained that the designs of the creations were custom-made and inspired by the children who wore them.
"ELENA LUKA has been part of such events for years. Although it was the first time I appeared in Strumica and in person, we have been working together with the "Vera" association for children with Down syndrome for years. This is a serious event that is becoming a tradition, this large fashion show is already taking on serious proportions. ELENA LUKA performed with two models. Our beautiful collaborators, two angels wore unique creations by ELENA LUKA, which were handmade. This year, the concept was tied to color, a black and white dress code, as a direction for the performance of the creations, so we moved within those frameworks and I think we did a great job." - emphasized ELENA LUKA.
According to ELENA LUKA, the fusion of fashion and people with disabilities is very important because their energy and character are woven into the creations themselves, making them unique.
"We combine the creations of ELENA LUKA, together with those beautiful angels, and I think that inspired by their energy, we create creations that are excellent in aesthetics, but we also pay attention to function. Even more important is that they give character to everything that is created, these are unique creations, special, with a special energy, woven into them. For ELENA LUKA, victory is in that moment when each design and creation gets its own energy, its own character, from the person who wears it, so I think we had a perfect hit," - emphasized ELENA LUKA.
Fashion connoisseurs can accurately assess what ELENA LUKA has put into these creations - emphasized ELENA LUKA, pointing out that the brand is overjoyed to have been able to collaborate with these children who proudly wore the creations themselves.
"I hope that there will be more and more events like this, we all fight as socially responsible companies, which do not think only about how much they will earn, but how much they will improve the lives of others. Together with my team, we stand behind the fact that we need to build a society where literally every individual can show their capabilities, where everyone's voice can be heard and where creation can be seen. We must ensure such an inclusive community where we can all create together and make a better place to live for all of us," said ELENA LUKA.
The event "We are beautiful, we are our own" is organized by the Association for Support and Assistance to People with Down Syndrome "Vera". This year, the host of the event was dressed in a model by ELENA LUKA. As in previous years, the humanitarian fashion show for people with disabilities was performed in the company of famous public figures.
